The IOPER hold annual plenary meetings to discuss environmental issues of common interest and share research findings, lessons learnt from incidents and country updates. Annual meetings are used to identify priority issues and the regulatory initiatives and work programs required to address them.
The IOPER AGM for 2023 is being held in the Western Australian capital of Perth on 5 and 6 October.
In the same week in Perth the International Regulators’ Forum (IRF)(external link) is also holding their AGM as well as their offshore safety conference. Over the two-day conference, in plenaries as well as smaller sessions, attendees will be able to hear from a wide variety of international thought-leaders, key industry and regulatory figures from both inside and outside of the IRF membership, and network with regulatory officials from around the world.
